Forged Flange Coupling Hubs
Forged flange coupling hubs in 42CrMo, 45# or Q345, CNC turned, milled and drilled, with quenching and tempering and custom bore, flange and coating options.

Forged hub construction and machining
Flange coupling hubs are made from closed-die forgings, then rough machined before CNC turning, milling and drilling bring the bore, flange face and bolt holes to the drawing. The forged grain flow supports mechanical strength in the hub body and flange transition.
Each hub is checked at final dimensions before shipment. The process is suited to single parts and repeat batches made to customer drawings.
Materials and heat treatment
Common grades include 42CrMo / 4140 / 42CrMo4, 45# / AISI 1045, Q345, Q235 and Q345B; stainless steel is available for corrosion-resistant duties. Quenching and tempering can be specified to adjust hardness and toughness.
Surface finish and coating are selected with the working environment, and the heat-treatment hardness range can be agreed on the drawing.
Applications and customization
These hubs are used in gearboxes and reducers, pumps and compressors, conveyors, mining machinery, marine drives and electric motors. They can be supplied with bore, flange and bolt-hole dimensions matched to the mating shaft and coupling.
Custom options include bore size, flange size, bolt-hole diameter, material grade, surface finish, coating and heat-treatment hardness range. Send drawings or performance requirements for a quotation.

Common questions
- Can you machine this part to my drawing?
- Yes. Every part is quoted from the drawing. Send a PDF, DWG, DXF, STEP or IGES file with the material, quantity and any inspection requirements, and we reply within one working day.
- How are the material and heat treatment decided?
- They follow your drawing. The specification table shows the range normally used for this part type; the final material and heat treatment are confirmed with the quotation.
- What lead time and inspection come with the part?
- Lead time is set in the quotation and depends on material, size, quantity and inspection scope. Material verification, in-process checks and final inspection records are archived with the part, and any extra certification is agreed before production.
- How is the part packed for export?
- Export parts are rust-proofed and packed for the transport method and destination confirmed in the quotation, with lifting points and markings agreed before dispatch.
Every part is quoted from the drawing itself, not from a size band. Send it over and we answer with the process, the lead time and the tolerance we can hold.
