Inline Helical Gear Reducer with B5 Motor Flange
Inline helical gear reducer with B5 motor flange, solid output shaft with tapped centre hole and foot mounting. Reduces motor speed and multiplies torque for general industrial drives.

Construction and mounting
The input side is a standard B5 flange that takes a motor directly, so no separate coupling or adapter plate is needed. The output is a solid shaft with a tapped centre hole for fitting couplings, sprockets or pulleys.
The housing is a single grey-iron casting with an integrally cast foot; bolted through the foot holes, the unit mounts horizontally on a base frame. An oil level and drain plug on the side allows checking and changing the oil.
Gearing and maintenance
Helical gears with hardened tooth flanks run in oil, giving quieter operation and higher load capacity than soft-tooth designs. Input and output shafts are on the same axis, keeping the footprint small.
A nameplate on the housing records model, ratio, rated power and serial number. Gear stages, accuracy grade and heat treatment are confirmed against the technical file for each order.
Duty and customisation
Typical duties include belt conveyors, bucket elevators, mixers, packaging lines and automation, as well as drives in metallurgy, mining, environmental and construction equipment.
We build to the mounting envelope, ratio, output shaft form and motor flange required. Rated torque, power and ratio are taken from the nameplate or the order-specific data sheet.

Common questions
- Can you machine this part to my drawing?
- Yes. Every part is quoted from the drawing. Send a PDF, DWG, DXF, STEP or IGES file with the material, quantity and any inspection requirements, and we reply within one working day.
- How are the material and heat treatment decided?
- They follow your drawing. The specification table shows the range normally used for this part type; the final material and heat treatment are confirmed with the quotation.
- What lead time and inspection come with the part?
- Lead time is set in the quotation and depends on material, size, quantity and inspection scope. Material verification, in-process checks and final inspection records are archived with the part, and any extra certification is agreed before production.
- How is the part packed for export?
- Export parts are rust-proofed and packed for the transport method and destination confirmed in the quotation, with lifting points and markings agreed before dispatch.
Every part is quoted from the drawing itself, not from a size band. Send it over and we answer with the process, the lead time and the tolerance we can hold.
