T-Series Right-Angle Spiral Bevel Gear Drive
A T-series right-angle drive that turns shaft power 90 degrees through a spiral bevel gear pair in a one-piece cast iron housing, with splined, hollow, or keyed shaft interfaces to order.

Housing and Mounting Layout
The gearbox uses a one-piece square cast iron housing finished with a blue anti-rust coating. The ribbed wall gives the unit rigidity and damping under running load, so the shaft center distance stays stable during continuous operation.
Multiple mounting holes are pre-machined on the housing faces, letting the unit be bolted in several positions and orientations. This makes it easier to fit a 90-degree take-off into a tight machine layout without redesigning the surrounding frame.
Spiral Bevel Transmission
Inside, a spiral bevel (curved-tooth bevel) gear pair transfers power between two shafts that intersect at 90 degrees. Depending on the ratio selected, the unit works as a reduction or a speed-up drive, and the curved tooth form keeps mesh contact gradual for smooth, quiet running with good load capacity.
The design suits medium-to-high speed, small-to-medium power duty where the load runs continuously. Gear teeth are hardened on the working flank to resist wear in that kind of service.
Shaft Interface Options
The top shaft is an involute splined shaft that plugs directly into a mating spline hub or driven part, giving a positive torque connection without extra hardware. The side output is a hollow bore shaft that slips straight onto the input shaft of the driven machine, eliminating a coupling and shortening the assembly.
Shaft ends can be built to order as solid shaft, hollow shaft, splined shaft, or keyed shaft so the interface matches the mating part on the customer's equipment.
Lubrication and Inspection
The unit is sealed and can run on grease or on oil bath lubrication. With the seals in good condition it needs little attention in normal service, which keeps maintenance cost and downtime low.
Housings, shaft ends, and gear tooth contact are checked before shipment, and non-standard shaft interfaces or ratios are quoted against the customer's drawing or sample. Tell us the mating shaft, required direction of rotation, and mounting position when ordering.

Common questions
- Can you machine this part to my drawing?
- Yes. Every part is quoted from the drawing. Send a PDF, DWG, DXF, STEP or IGES file with the material, quantity and any inspection requirements, and we reply within one working day.
- How are the material and heat treatment decided?
- They follow your drawing. The specification table shows the range normally used for this part type; the final material and heat treatment are confirmed with the quotation.
- What lead time and inspection come with the part?
- Lead time is set in the quotation and depends on material, size, quantity and inspection scope. Material verification, in-process checks and final inspection records are archived with the part, and any extra certification is agreed before production.
- How is the part packed for export?
- Export parts are rust-proofed and packed for the transport method and destination confirmed in the quotation, with lifting points and markings agreed before dispatch.
Every part is quoted from the drawing itself, not from a size band. Send it over and we answer with the process, the lead time and the tolerance we can hold.
